Bit-Bot's Math Voyage in an underwater adventure in which children 6 to 9 years of age can learn math by playing various games. Below are screen shots taken from some of the many activities found in Bit-Bot's Math Voyage. When you play a game, you win fish for your Aquarium, which is in Bit-Bot's submarine. The object is to win 20 fish, but you can only win 5 in any single game. Each Activity has its own music which plays and there are many sound effects, including audio instructions and encouragement from Bit-Bot himself.

Above is the main menu of Bit-Bot's submarine. When you roll your mouse over items in the submarine, they animate. The doors open to show you the game you will go to if you click on that door. The periscope moves down. The control panel flashes, the clock spins, etc. Also, there are fish swimming by in the backround. The Aquarium in the foreground is where your fish go after you win them in an activity.

Here is a view of the Aquarium with some of the fish. The background, music, and color can be changed and you can arrange your accessories however you like. These settings are saved for each player (as well as which fish you have won and which activity you won them in.) There are many other activities in the Aquarium, including a TV with underwater videos and a game where you play Pong with a squishy green blowfish. You can also feed your fish and you can measure them with the digital fish ruler.

In the Bubble Blast, a math or counting problem appears at the bottom of the screen. The correct anwser then is in one of the bubbles that floats up from the bottom. If you click on the correct answer, the bubble turns to a starfish and Bit-Bot moves up on his rope. If you answer incorrectly, the bubble pops and Bit-Bot moves down. You win a fish when Bit-Bot gets up to the submarine. If you get three correct answers in a row, coins start raining down and you get to keep all that you can click on. You use the money in the Aquarium Store to buy accessories for your Aquarium.

This is the Aquarium Store where you can buy accessories for your Aquarium. When you click on an item, its price is displayed on the price tag. You must drag the coins into the correct slots of the cash register. When you put in the correct amount, Bit-Bot appears behind the item and takes it to your Aquarium. (The cash register also gives change of course.)

The Dolphin School helps you with multiplication tables. Each desk has a multiplication problem on it. Each dolpin is balancing a ball with a number on it as it swims. Some of the numbers on the balls are answers to the problems. The object of the game is to find the answers and drag them to the correct desks before the dolphins swim away again.

The Treasure Hunt allows you to navigate the trenches of the ocean floor to look for sunken treasure. The display screen shows you where you are and where the treasure is. The digital readout tells you how many Kilometers you must go and in which directions. As you travel the numbers count down. You must use your navigation skills and knowledge of graphs to know how to find the treasure. The digital video interactively shows you where you are in the trenches. You may only turn where two trenches intersect. Watch out for mines! Fortunately, you can destroy the mines with your torpedoes and move on.

In the Shape Shoot, you move your mouse right or left to scan the water with your periscope. A pattern of shapes appears below. Starting with the first shape in the pattern, you must find a shape in the water that matches the next shape in the pattern. As the shape bobs in and out of the water, you must click the mouse to fire a dart and hit the shape. You then move on to the next shape in the pattern. At advanced levels, you must interpolate the pattern and find the mistery shapes that complete the pattern correctly.
